Noberne Seals are proud to announce that we have become official distributors of Blue60. This brand new product is set to revolutionise the doorset installer market, and we are extremely excited to be able to supply it!

Blue60 is a fire resistant expanding foam which is designed to be applied around the perimeter of a doorset frame. It provides protection for 30 or 60 minutes depending on the doorset fire performance, is fire tested to BS-EN 1634-1 & BS476-22 and fully supported by International Fire engineering assessment report PAR/16986/01. It is also acoustically tested to full doorset up to 43dB.

As impressive as its technical properties are, Blue60’s real strength lies in the fact that no additional mastics or sealants are required, thus massively saving on labour, time and costs. Once it has set, the excess material can simply be cut away and cosmetic architraves fixed in the normal way if required.

To be fully effective the gap between the door frame and substrate needs to be completely filled. It has been effectively tested on gaps between frames and stud partitioning structures 7 and 30mm wide and comes with colour co-ordinated 1mm, 3mm and 5mm packers.
